He was a painter and wall paper hanger in Williams.He married Minerva "Minnie" Williams on December 12, 1897, and their children were Gladys (Stapleton), Mabel (Davis), Ernest,Genevieve (Boicourt),and Forest. His siblings were Charlie, Mary Jane(Terrell), Howard, and Homer Barnes.
