Daughter of James Walker and Mary Ann Talbot, stepdaughter to James Aldridge.

Wife of August Wise, mother of 13 children.

After Stella divorced her husband, she and her remaining children moved. Her sons Philip and Daniel remained with her and both worked at a sawmill with their brother George who lived nearby with his family.

George was a foreman and his younger brothers worked under him and supported themselves and their mother.

Stella's children all grew to adulthood, save 2. Two daughters became nurses in Yakima.
