OBIT: Anthony Frederick, 82, early pioneer of the state of Washington, died Saturday afternoon at his home in Naches. Born in Nebraska, Frederick had lived in the state 76 years. He had lived in the Nile Valley for 47 years on a farm he purchased from the North Pacific Railway. He moved to Naches in 1943 because of ill health. Mr. Frederick is survived by his wife, Harriet, with whom he had celebrated his 57th wedding anniversary last October ; three sons, Harry, Naches, Henry of the Nile, and Archie, Renton, Washington; four daughters, Mrs. Marjorie Simmons, Nile, Mrs. Katherine Ley, Naches, Mrs. Louise Dibble, Seattle, and Mrs. Mildred Wingerter, Yakima, two brothers, Jake and Philip, Ellensburg, 21 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.
