Yakima Daily Republic 23 Mar 1942 pg 10] Poirier-- Maurice Joseph Poirier. 74, died Sunday in his home in Moxee after an illness of several years. He was a farmer, born in Canada who came to the valley 36 years ago. The family includes the widow, Mrs. Odile Poirier; four sons, Albert of Naches, Rozeleo and Florio of Wapato, and Walter of Seattle; five daughters, Mrs. Albertine Learning of Olympia, Mrs. Ernestine Bouchey of Wapato, Mrs. Celestine Sauve of Selah, Mrs . Loretta Sauve of Yakima and Mrs. Florence Beck of Seattle; one brother Milgire Poirier of Canada; 72 grandchildren and 27 great­grandchildren. Mr. And Mrs. Poirier last September celebrated their fifty-fourth wedding anniversary. Mr . Poirier was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic church . Chapman & Poulin has charge of arrangements. Buried in Holy Rosary Cemetery, East facing Altar Lot 105 G rave 6
